Rancho ni Cristo
"There are alarming reports of trafficking for child cyber pornography in Cebu."
54% of victims are 12 years old and younger
The Philippines has among the highest incidences of child trafficking and sexual abuse including internet pornography.
Recent statistics have shown that 54% of those abused in OSEC (Online Sexual Exploitation of Children) cases are children under the age of 12. Because we know that this breaks God`s heart, we are doing something about it.
Rancho provides a safe haven for girls who have been rescued out of the evils of online sex trafficking.
At the Rancho, children will be taught about the love of Christ. In addition to basic food, shelter and medical care, they will also receive counseling, mentoring, and life skills training.
There is an on-site school where the girls will be able to complete junior high school. They are also taught music, dance, arts & sports.
To encourage sustainability, Rancho cultivates a variety of fruits and vegetables and even chickens, ducks and goats.
